Project:

NTR Planning has successfully achieved planning permission for a 6,650 m3 water storage reservoir to enable the club to significantly increase their water efficiency and reduced reliance on mains water.  The Golf club site is within the Green Belt and within a candidate areas within the Surrey Hills National Landscape review.  We worked with the Golf club and their reservoir engineers, landscape architects, ecologists and flood risk consultants to balance the design requirements and after a successful pre-app process were successful in securing planning permission with delegated authority.  Officers agreed that the reservoir would sit comfortably in its setting and agreed that the positive water resource benefits of the scheme outweighed the inevitable loss of 2 mature trees.
